3rd Hole — 191 Yards, Par 3 (Bryansglen)

The Long Carry

This demanding par 3 requires full focus. Depending on the wind, it can play anywhere from a mid-iron to a driver, so club selection is critical. The green is tightly guarded by bunkers on the left and right—neither offers an easy up-and-down. Long is absolutely not an option: there’s punishing rough and a steep drop beyond the surface. Trouble also lurks out left with dense forest, making it a no-go zone.

A long, accurate tee shot is essential. If you want to keep the scorecard intact, you must find the putting surface or at least finish in the surrounds.

This hole exposes indecision. On calm days it feels conquerable, but when the coastal wind picks up, even seasoned players second-guess their yardage. Subtle green contours reward a high, soft landing over brute force. It’s not just about reaching the green—it’s how you get there.
