14th Hole — 308 Yards, Par 4 (Summit)

Short Yardage, Tall Demands

Don’t be fooled by the card. Playing steadily uphill and fully exposed to the breeze, Summit asks for placement over power. A controlled tee shot to the widest part of the fairway sets up a short-iron approach, but elevation and wind can add a club (sometimes two). Stray offline and the banks and rough tighten quickly, turning a simple wedge into a tricky recovery.

The green is compact and slightly crowned, with subtle fall-offs that gather anything under-hit or marginally offline. Front pins are inviting but protected by the slope; back pins bring distance control to the fore. Land your approach on the correct tier and under the hole—putts from above can race away.

Summit rewards players who keep their tempo and trust their numbers. Commit to a positive strike into the upslope, flight the ball to a landing spot, and avoid chasing edges. It’s a classic scoring chance if you respect the elevation and the wind.
